Please comment if you have tried this interface and have better luck with 48K 24bit sessions in FW mode. I have not tested the midi implementation yet. The unit needs an external wall wart for USB mode. The interface also works as a USB2 device. I clicked the check box for reduce latency in attached devices and that helped to bring it down to a useable amount for tracking a vocal. No hicups, but when monitoring while a track was in rec ready, there seemed to be a lot of latency. No access to the 8 optical ins but I wasn't expecting those to work. On the 44.1 16 bit session everything worked well. Any deviation from these settings and PT Agg device isn't recognized or I get an alert saying "This device does not operate at 44.1" or something to that effect. So far I can only get it to work well with sessions that are 44.1 16bit.
